Honeycomb Plant Booster Darts: Miracle Season guide
Understand the Miracle Season craft-a-dart objective, distinguish Plant Booster Darts from wildlife ammunition, and turn accelerated growth into seed stock.

THE SHORT ANSWER
For Miracle Season, follow the objective for the Plant Booster dart, not a different dart type. Hotfix #3 adds an in-game Plant Booster Darts guide at this step and clarifies the crafting location in the objective. Plant darts advance growth so you can collect useful plant material sooner; bring the result back to a working growing area.
Before you begin
- The Dart Gun progression associated with Field Sedation
- The current Miracle Season objective and its crafting instructions
- A known plant target, collection tools and a prepared growing area
Field Sedation and Miracle Season are different checkpoints
Field Sedation introduces the Dart Gun route. Miracle Season has the specific objective to craft a Plant Booster dart. If you already own a gun but are stuck on the later task, check the ammunition requested by that objective instead of assuming possession of the weapon completes it.
On Hotfix #3 and later, the Plant Booster Darts guide appears when Miracle Season asks for the craft. Read that guide alongside the updated objective, which identifies the crafting location. This keeps the next step tied to your current quest rather than to a generic weapons recipe.
| Name to look for | Role in the route | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Field Sedation | Dart Gun progression | Complete the tool objectives you have available |
| Miracle Season | Plant Booster crafting objective | Read the named dart and crafting location |
| Plant Booster dart | Advances plant growth | Select plant ammunition for a plant target |
| Second Life | Composter follow-up after Miracle Season | Finish Miracle Season before looking for the follow-up |
Work through the craft-a-dart objective
- Open the active Miracle Season objective and identify the Plant Booster dart.
- Follow the crafting-location instruction shown by the objective. If the recipe is absent from the Fabricator, check the Aid Station recipe list.
- Select that dart's recipe and check its required ingredients.
- If ingredients in a locker appear missing, test them in personal inventory.
- Craft the requested item and inspect the quest's next instruction.
If the objective still has the older, unclear wording, update the game before continuing. Do not spend ingredients on a similarly named wildlife dart simply because it can be used with the same weapon. If building the Aid Station is blocked by an unknown Silicon ingredient, follow the Viscous Secretion and Zuma nest route. For storage-related crafting trouble, follow the ingredient visibility checks.
Use accelerated growth for a specific collection
Identify the plant and the material you need before using a dart. The useful result might be a flower, produce to process or the starting material for a base crop. A plant reaching another growth stage is a means to that collection goal.
- Scan or identify the intended specimen.
- Prepare the appropriate plant ammunition.
- Use it on the plant and inspect the resulting growth.
- Collect the available material with the relevant activated tool.
- Process it into seeds where the item offers that route.
Inspect what changed before firing again. A dart used on a plant does not automatically put seeds in your inventory, and a collection tool that is inactive or worn out can still interrupt the harvest.
If the Dart Gun switches to the wrong dart after automatically reloading a Sleep or Plant Booster dart, install Hotfix #8 or later; that specific auto-reload bug was fixed there. Check the selected ammunition before the next shot. This is separate from finding or crafting the Plant Booster recipe.
Prepare the destination before the collection trip
Return with a plan for the specimen. Keep material for your next crop separate from food you intend to eat or plant matter you intend to compost. A working growing area needs its supply and placement checks completed before a rare sample arrives.
If the greenhouse is the bottleneck, fix the B-pipe and Grow Bed setup first. If the crop already grows reliably, focus on collecting enough useful produce and keeping replacement seeds. That makes the dart part of a repeatable collection route rather than a one-off shortcut.
After Miracle Season: start Second Life
Completing Miracle Season unlocks the Second Life quest added in Hotfix #3. It asks you to build a Composter, supply plant matter and wait for biomass. Saves that had already completed Miracle Season receive the new quest when loaded on the updated version.
Use the Second Life and Composter walkthrough for that next task. Keep your valuable seed and research reserves before deciding which plant material to use.
